Even as a short-time visitor, you'll soon recognize the cultural diversity that distinguishes the Old Pueblo. If you're here in the fall season, you'll have the chance to experience the entire ethnic mix of the city during the heritage festival in October. More than 30 groups and individuals set up their stands for the weekend around El Presidio Park downtown, offering everything from Mexican horchatas to African drumming. It's your best opportunity to experience the people of Tucson and it's free.
